 Built around IEC 61000-4-15 flicker international standards, the GF438II handheld power quality analyzer independently calculates short-term PST (10-minute) and long-term PLT (2-hour) flicker values for three-phase and neutral circuits, eliminating manual timing and calculation work for inspectors. It continuously captures voltage fluctuation data, generates intuitive flicker trend curves, and automatically marks time nodes where flicker exceeds standard limits for rapid grid interference source identification.

Its advanced long-term trend logging engine supports custom sampling intervals ranging from seconds to hours, capable of continuously storing up to 600 types of electrical indicators in the built-in 32G TF storage for weeks of unattended monitoring. All tracked metrics include voltage/current RMS, unbalance ratio, harmonic distortion, power values and flicker data, which are rendered into continuous trend charts with zoom and cursor tools for later data review. The system automatically retains complete timestamp labels for every record, fully meeting EN50160 grid compliance audit requirements.

Distinct from basic testers that separate flicker testing and trend storage, this unit synchronizes flicker sampling and long-term data recording in one single run without repeated test setup. The flexible 4-channel voltage and 4-channel current input design supports simultaneous flicker monitoring across multiple load branches, ideal for field audits of manufacturing workshops, photovoltaic combiner boxes and municipal power supply lines.
